2016: English Language Program Launches

English Language Program

Founded 2015

At Cambria, we are proud of our diverse employee population. To support those who are learning to speak English as a second language, we provide an educational program to enhance their English learning. The program is taught by three instructors and serves over 100 employees. The skills gained through the program have led to better communication, a sense of community, and advancement opportunities for several program graduates.

Camp Cambria® Foundation

Most recently, the Camp Cambria Foundation was dedicated to raising awareness and funds for the well-being of over 324,000 children living with juvenile arthritis (JA). The foundation not only funded Camp Cambria®, a weeklong summer camp tailored to children with JA, but also embarked on essential renovations to True Friends Camp Courage campsite. These improvements enhanced the experience for kids enduring challenges of childhood diseases.

Beyond this, we’re also engaged in thorough research and exploration of unmet needs within the community to envision how Camp Cambria 2.0 could further support and uplift children.

Cambria Accelerated Scholarship Program

We believe in rewarding hard work and investing in the future of young people. Each year, we provide a full-ride college scholarship to a few phenomenal high school seniors who have worked hard to achieve academic excellence.

Cambria is proud to recognize and honor all those who serve or have served our country in the US Armed Forces—especially those we get to call Cambria employees. To celebrate them, we created “Hats Off to Our Military”—where we give each of our military employees a custom hat in recognition of our appreciation.

Be Cambria SAFE

It takes company-wide participation and commitment to achieve a truly safe workplace. At Cambria, the foundation of all our safety programs is based on our Be Cambria SAFE (Seek, Act, Fix, Engage) program. By driving involvement and incentivizing proactive safe behaviors, it fosters a culture of Safety All Day, Every Day, Always.

Northside Boxing

Northside Boxing Clubopens in a new tab (NSB) goes beyond the ring—empowering kids through mentorship, discipline, and the transformative power of sports. We’ve partnered with NSB for many years, helping it create a safe, positive space for young people to grow both physically and mentally. In addition to financial contributions, we help plan and volunteer alongside NSB’s team at its annual Fight Night fundraiser. NSB was also the benefactor of CambriaCares’ Impact Day—a day of hands-on service where we packed backpacks for the NSB community, ensuring the kids have the support they need to thrive.

Junior Achievement BizTown

Mark Davis is seen cutting the ribbon for Cambria's simulation storefront at the Junior Achievement’s BizTownopens in a new tab learning lab. BizTown gives young minds a hands-on opportunity to explore careers, develop financial literacy, and learn the value of teamwork and entrepreneurship. This passion for fostering education runs deep in Cambria's roots. The program and volunteers help spark innovation, build confidence, and create a foundation for success in students throughout Minnesota.

Junior Achievement Biztown

McKenzie Regional Workforce Center

Understanding the nationwide need for trade skills training, we are proud to sponsor the McKenzie Regional Workforce Centeropens in a new tab in Dane County, Wisconsin. This organization is focused on enhancing trade skills through programs for those interested in manufacturing, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, electric, and more.

MATTER

What do a fire truck, golden dragons, and healthy food have in common? It’s a shinning example of a local company’s commitment to community here and abroad. Matter’s partnershipopens in a new tab with the quartz counter top manufacturer, Cambria, culminated in an event to generate community impact both in Minnesota and Panama.

True Friends is a nonprofit organization providing life-changing experiences that enhance independence and self-esteem for children and adults with disabilities.

Hendrickson Foundation

The Hendrickson Foundation seeks to enrich the lives of individuals with disabilities, and their families, through the game of hockey.

Letters of Love

The mission of Letters of Love is to provide emotional support to children battling serious illnesses through the creation of hand-crafted, heartfelt letters. They aim to build a community of love and kindness, empowering young people to change the world one card at a time.

The Salvation Army

The Salvation Army aims to improve the health, economic, and spiritual conditions for those who are underserved.

Camp Southern Ground

Camp Southern Ground wants to be the place where your child can have good fun, eat good food, connect with good friends, and learn the confidence to go put more good into the world.

North American Pond Hockey

Founded by the DWB Memorial Foundation, the NAPHC hosts local hockey players to compete for the championship while raising money for Minnesota organizations and families in need.

Excelsior Morning Rotary

Rotary provides service to others, promotes integrity, and advances world understanding, goodwill, and peace through its fellowship of business, professional, and community leaders.

The Mauer and Friends Kids Classic is not only a fundraiser, but also a fun-filled day featuring an on-field activity for Gillette patients and families.
